PackSnap is designed to be local-first. The app does not require an account, does not collect personal data for tracking, and does not send your packing lists to a PackSnap server.

What PackSnap collects

No account details.
No names, email addresses, or contact information.
No location history.
No analytics or advertising identifiers beyond Apple platform defaults.
No tracking across apps or websites.

How your data is stored

Your trips, items, categories, and traveler assignments are stored locally on your device.
Widget content is derived from local trip data shared only through Apple's app-group storage.
Purchase status is managed through Apple's in-app purchase infrastructure.

Data sharing

PackSnap does not sell, rent, or share your packing data with third parties. If you choose to use Apple platform features such as purchase restore or widget surfaces, those interactions are governed by Apple's systems and policies.

Your control

Because PackSnap stores data locally, deleting the app removes app data from the device in the normal iOS/iPadOS way. You can also remove trips manually inside the app at any time.

PackSnap is intended to use the App Store privacy label Data Not Collected.
