SPRING DATA LIMITED

SupperBoard Privacy Policy

Effective date: 16 August 2026

Plain-language summary: SupperBoard stores your dinner plans on your device. Food photos, confirmed ingredients and recipe preferences stay on-device. Recipe creation uses local rules and does not require an account, API key or external AI service.

Information handled by the app

You may enter meal names, notes, favourites, weekly plans, backups, and templates. This content is stored locally using Apple platform storage. The app does not require an account and does not send this content to SPRING DATA LIMITED.

Food photos and ingredient analysis

When you choose Take photo, SupperBoard requests camera access and uses the resulting image to suggest possible ingredients. When you use Apple's Photos picker, the app receives only the image you select and does not request access to your full photo library. Image classification and package-text recognition run on the device using Apple's Vision framework. SupperBoard does not upload, share, or permanently store these images; the current image is discarded when its screen is released or replaced. Confirm every suggested ingredient yourself. SupperBoard cannot determine freshness, allergens, cross-contamination, or whether food has been stored or cooked safely.

On-device recipe creation

After you confirm the ingredient list and request a recipe, SupperBoard processes the confirmed names, piece counts, raw/cooked states, selected cooking style, time limit and vegetarian preference entirely on your device. It uses bundled cooking rules to produce 3–5 concise steps, exact amounts for basic pantry additions, and an approximate calorie total. This information is not sent to SPRING DATA LIMITED, OpenAI or another recipe provider.

Widget and App Shortcut

To show tonight and tomorrow, a small snapshot containing those meal names is stored in the app's private shared container. It remains on the device and is available only to SupperBoard and its widget/Shortcut.

Calendar and files

Calendar write access is requested only when you choose to add a week. SupperBoard writes the selected dinner events and does not read your calendar. JSON and PDF files are created only when you request an export and are sent only to the destination you choose through Apple's share interface.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. SPRING DATA LIMITED receives transaction and financial reporting from Apple but does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple's privacy policy governs Apple's processing.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

SupperBoard contains no third-party analytics, advertising SDK, tracking technology or external AI recipe service. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

Meal and plan data remains on your device until you delete it in SupperBoard, delete the app, or erase the device. Food photos are not added to SupperBoard's persistent data. Use Settings → Delete all local data to remove SupperBoard meal, plan, and template data. Export a copy first if required.

Children

SupperBoard is a general-audience planning utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
