Spring Data Limited ("we", "us") makes Yard Log ("the App"). This policy explains exactly what data the App handles. We tried to make it short and honest.
None of your maintenance data leaves your device. Tools, hours, service logs, parts, photos, owner's manual PDFs, and notes are stored locally on your iPhone and iPad. We do not run a server that receives this data. We do not have user accounts.
The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs. We do not send usage data, crash reports, or device identifiers to ourselves or anyone else.
If you enable iCloud sync in a future version, your maintenance data is encrypted and stored in your private CloudKit container so it can sync between your own devices. We cannot read it.
Yard Log Pro is a one-time, non-subscription in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple shares anonymous purchase totals with us in App Store Connect. We never see your name, email, payment details, or device identifier.
If you attach a photo to a tool, the photo is stored only inside the App on your device. We never upload it.
If you import an owner's manual PDF, the file is copied into the App's private storage on your device. We never upload it.
The App can send you local notifications when a service is due. These are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device — they never travel through us or any third party.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
