Gridsmith ("the App") is developed and published by Spring Data Limited ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.
Gridsmith does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The App is designed to work entirely on your device with no external server connections required for gameplay.
Gridsmith does not collect any of the following:
Gridsmith stores your puzzle progress, settings, and completion data locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults system. This data:
Gridsmith offers optional in-app purchases (puzzle packs and visual themes) through Apple's App Store. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to any payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID information.
Gridsmith does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking frameworks. The App does not contain any SDKs from third-party companies.
Gridsmith contains no advertising of any kind. There are no banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded video ads, or native ads.
Gridsmith does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is safe for users of all ages. The App Store age rating is 4+.
Gridsmith does not track users across other companies' apps or websites. The App does not request the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because no tracking takes place.
Gridsmith's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected". This accurately reflects that the App collects no data from users.
Gridsmith uses Apple's UserDefaults API to save your puzzle progress and preferences locally on your device. This use is declared in the App's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest file under the required reasons category CA92.1 (accessing user defaults to read and write information that is only accessible to the app itself).
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
