Overview
Pollen Diary is designed to help users record symptoms, medication, conditions, activities, and trends over time. We aim to keep data handling simple and limited to what is needed for the app to function.
Information stored in the app
The app may store diary information that the user enters, such as symptom ratings, notes, medications, conditions, activities, and custom symptom labels. This information is stored locally on the user’s device.
Widgets
If the user enables the app’s widget, the app may write a limited snapshot of recent information to the app group shared container used by the widget extension. This allows the widget to show up-to-date information on the user’s device.
Subscriptions and payments
Pollen Diary may offer optional paid subscriptions. Purchases are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system. We do not receive or process the user’s payment card details directly inside the app.
Exports
If the user chooses to export their diary, the app creates CSV or PDF files locally on the device so they can be shared by the user. These exports are only shared when the user takes an explicit action to do so.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Pollen Diary is not intended to rely on third-party advertising networks for app operation. The current app implementation is designed around on-device storage and Apple-managed purchase flows.
Account creation
The app does not require the user to create an account in order to log data locally on the device.
Children’s privacy
Pollen Diary is not directed to children under 13 as a dedicated children’s app. Parents or guardians who have questions can contact us using the email below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy if the app’s features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
